Just as windows phones are still struggling in the world market, Microsoft designed the Surface Phone 2016 that will cover nearly everything needed to be the most advanced smartphone in line and make its way to success in the market competition.

It is reported that the Microsoft has dropped it Windows series phone and the new Surface Phone would take the seat of it. Microsoft is gearing up to release the latest flagship, which is said to bring the Redmond-based software to the smartphone segment.

Microsoft fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the Microsoft Surface Phone next year.

Even without Microsoft's confirmation, the tech enthusiasts have already embraced the idea of a Surface Phone. However, it seems likely that Microsoft is setting up the Surface Phone as their ultimate plan to conquer the handset market as well. According to Tech Radar, the Surface Phone could have a display-embedded fingerprint scanner, which represents the character of next-gen smartphones.

#Karl Zeiss Dual Lens Setup?: Another significant specifications of this new device from Microsoft is that the premium variant of the Surface Phone 2017 will sport 20MP Carl Zeiss rear camera lenses. Likewise, the Surface Phone may finally put the Microsoft on the map as one of the top handset developers.

Surface Phone is also fitted with Type C USB port for easy external connections and data transfers and a fingerprint sensor to provide extra security access according to some speculations. It will be packed with 4 GB RAM and an internal storage capacity ranging from 32 GB to 128 GB, depending on the Surface Phone variant.

A few days back an image leaked shows that the phone will be featuring a Snapdragon 830 processor with the 5.7-inch display and a 2K resolution. The phone is also expected to include support for Surface Pen akin to Samsung Stylus support in Galaxy series phones. As the latest addition to the Surface family, the Surface Phone is expected to retain the classic Surface standard with all-metal components.
